I must congratulate you on a job well done, bringing to close an issue that i've long had with the Western release of the FFIV remake on 3DS, Android, and now PC! The Japanese audio was present, but nobody saw fit to ensure it added. Thanks to work of undubbers, modders, and all others who make impassioned though cogent pleas to include original language voice work, remove game censorship etc. And generally offer options for the most complete version of the game as the developers intended it, SquareEnix themselves have started to release their later titles with Japanese audio included from the start, as they did for Final Fantasy XIII, XIII-2, and soon to be X and X-2!Well done!P.S. Maybe I missed it, but would you be willing to give detailed results of your modding process and what skills and tools it required? Having spoken to people who attempted to mod in JP audio in the past, they were met with considerable difficulty but then again I do not know the exact method they were using.
Undubbing is not sanctioned by game publishers. A typical candidate for an undub is a Japanese game which has been published in the United States, with voice acting dubbed in English and text content translated into English, but lacking an in-game option to use the original Japanese audio. The process of undubbing consists of identifying the. PSP: Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core UNDUB USA ISO - bit.ly/2Aesnoy &nb.

Having spoken to people who attempted to mod in JP audio in the past, they were met with considerable difficulty but then again I do not know the exact method they were using. Thank you again!Biggs had a method which he used to replace the music with the SNES version. Essentially the file is an OGG with an extra 204 byte header and the file extension changed to.AKB, by removing the header, adjusting some values and attaching the header to the JP OGG files I was able to undub it.There was however crash issues because a lot of the files were longer/shorter in the japanese version, so I either padded the audio with silence or trimmed/adjusted the tempo so that the sample length of the new files were essentially the same, this was the hardest part since that had to be done manually in Audacity. Everything else I wrote a python script to automate.more details about the AKB format can be found in Biggs' thread about the SNES music patch here.

A world of many races, the humes, bangaa, viera and, of course, moogles, all call Ivalice home.War was on the horizon. Seeking to strengthen its base of power, the great Archadian Empire had been invading and subjugating its neighboring kingdoms one by one.
The small Kingdom of Dalmasca was one such kingdom. When the occupying Archadian forces established a new consul in Dalmasca's Royal City of Rabanastre, it caught the attention of Vaan, an urchin living on the streets. To Vaan, the Empire was a hated enemy who had taken the life of his brother—his last surviving family member. Vaan hatched a plan to sneak into the castle housing the new consul and unburden him of one or two of his treasures.
But before he would have the chance, Vaan got far more than he bargained for; a resistance movement of former Dalmascan soldiers rising up against the Archadian Empire was launching an assault! Amid the ensuing confusion that engulfed the castle, Vaan saw something he could scarcely believe.
There, among the members of the resistance, was the figure of the sole remaining heir to the Dalmascan throne, the Princess Ashe, who'd been given up for missing. Our story follows Vaan, Ashe, Vaan's friend Penelo, the sky pirate Balthier, his partner Fran and many more on an adventure through Ivalice that traces the mysteries behind the Archadian Empire's invasion. Since 1987, the FINAL FANTASY series has sold over 60 million units. FINAL FANTASY XII carries on the proud tradition, bringing new ideas to the series and innovation to the RPG genre. Every aspect of the graphics brings color to the world of Ivalice—blues and oranges reminiscent of the Mediterranean evoke a landscape alive with a mix of European and Arabian imagery.
